<\/a>Actor, author, serial entrepreneur, Executive Producer, Jim Iyke\u2019s latest movie production \u201cBad Comments\u201d has been acquired by Amazon.<\/span><\/p>\n

The unprecedented deal by Amazon would make the social impact centered movie, which addresses the consequences of cyberbullying, the highest negotiation so far in the African movie industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

The film is also an official selection for the 17th Edition of the Harlem International Film Festival (The people\u2019s film festival) slated for May 5th -15th, 2022. The Harlem Festival is an annual festival in Harlem, New York that celebrates films from around the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Although Bad Comments was not nominated for an AMVCA (Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards) due to an embargo on any film longer than two hours, this hasn\u2019t stopped the movie from making waves both in Nigeria and beyond.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The highly acclaimed film was released in August 2021 starring Jim Iyke, Ayo Makun, Osas Ighodaro, Yemi Blaq, Sharon Ooja, Chiwetel Agu, Patience Ozokwor, Ruggedman, Ini Edo, Timaya and a host of others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jim Iyke is really busy this year with even more projects on his plate. His production company 6th sense is working on two TV series. : <\/span>Sin and Ordinary People. <\/b>We are anticipating the release of these two shows and know they will be nothing short of amazing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To celebrate the amazing feat on the deal with the online retailing giant, Jim hosted an Amazon release watch party with his fans, guests and the Nollywood industry, on Monday, May 2nd 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fast-paced drama and thriller \u201cBad Comments\u201d\u00a0 is also keeping fans excited in 2022 with the announcement of a sequel titled \u2018<\/span>The Crusader\u2019,<\/b> which is already in pre-production stages. Shooting will begin in July 2022 in conjunction with the prospective film and tourism boards in Dubai, Dar es Salam, Tanzania and Lagos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
