Registration for Africa\u2019s\u00a0 premier business events trade show is now open. South Africa\u2019s travel tourism products and services\u00a0 in the Meetings Incentive, Conventions and Exhibitions\u00a0 (MICE) sector can now register to exhibit at Meetings Africa 201, which takes place from the 25th<\/sup>\u00a0 to the 27th<\/sup> of February at the Sandton Convention Centre.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A must in the tourism calendar, Meetings Africa will celebrate its 14th\u00a0 <\/sup>year\u00a0 in 2019. The trade show was born in response to the global meetings industry\u2019s growing recognition of Africa as a sought-after premier business events destination and is tailored\u00a0 to encourage and stimulate the rotation of meetings on the African contine<\/p>\n \u201cThe MICE sector\u00a0 is an integral part of not only\u00a0 South Africa\u2019s\u00a0 tourism offering but the rest of the continent too.\u00a0 We would therefore like to invite exhibitors to\u00a0 register and partner with us in our efforts\u00a0 to use Meetings Africa as the ultimate platform for\u00a0 the regional business events industry to engage in a bid to attract more global and regional business events to Africa,\u201d says Amanda Kotze-Nhlapo, Chief Convention Bureau Officer at the South Africa National Convention Bureau, a business unit of South African Tourism.<\/p>\n The two-day trade show has a dedicated educational day\u00a0 (Business Opportunity Networking Day) which is executed in conjunction with key industry associations (SAACI, SITE, EXSA, Event Greening Forum and ICCA).<\/p>\n \u201cWe have a diversity of tourism products and services and we are serious about showcasing them to the world.
