This edition was designed for SME’s, young graduates, owners of small and medium businesses, aspiring digital entrepreneurs and media managers within corporate bodies who are interested in building a strong beauty brand in the digital space.
Facilitated by beauty enthusiast, Nowe Isibor, the event saw renowned digital beauty experts like Dimma Umeh and Kehinde Smith of My Extensionz, who shared their knowledge on how they have grown their brand using digital platforms and digital tools to keep their audience engaged. It was a fantastic opportunity for attendees, who learnt, had access to discuss and get tips to grow their brands. Online educator and author of ‘Find Your Gold” Stephanie Obi, educated the audience on ways to discover and maximize their true potential.
Attendees had the opportunity to mingle and network during the break which was catered by Krispy Kreme with doughnuts and champagne by Haute Couture which kept flowing.
There were giveaways from skincare products by Oriki, Hairfinity products, BNatural Spa vouchers, Mose store goody bag and Find Your Gold book during the sessions as attendees had to put to test knowledge gained from the speakers during the masterclass.
The masterclass ended with a panel advising and answering questions from attendees on ways digital platforms has helped their brands and their digital journey. The panel consisted of Communication’s expert; Liz Osho, TV Personality; Idia Eisien, Beauty expert; Ezinne Alfa and Vlogger; Tuke Morgan.

On Saturday, June 3rd, 2017, The MOSÉ Store, a premium beauty retail hub opened its doors to beauty connoisseurs at its flagship location at Nelle Mall, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Guests in attendance included: Oma Ehiri, Ini Dima-Okojie, Taje Prest, Derin Fabikun, Denola Grey, Bolanle Olukanni, Tayo Afolabi, Tewa Onasanya, Anita Brows, Makida Moka, Mo Chedda, Mo ashy, Sharon Oja, Abimbola Craig, Sisi Yemmie, Kaylah Oniwo, Nkem Onwudiwe, Rhoda Ebun, Dimma Umeh, Oge Agu, Eki Ogunbor, Chef Uzo, and many more.
The event began with a press conference boasting an impressive turnout of influencers, celebrities and well-wishers, elegantly dressed in premium African print clothing who came prepared to experience a day in Mosé Wonderlandwhilst having an African tea party. The guests were greeted by compere, Ify Igwe who introduced all to The Mosé Store brand.
The Creative Director of the Mosé Store, Nowe Isibor, began by speaking about her incredibly daunting yet rewarding journey that saw the inception of the Mose store. Guests were shocked to know that the Mosé Store had been in existence for over two years.
She said of her journey: “There were times when the store was empty and no one was buying anything but I would come in every day. It became my day job as I had quit my regular paying job…So many people told me to close shop, count my loss and even operate solely online….but that was not an option for me, as an online store was always meant to compliment Mosé physical retail space ”. Her resilience has finally paid off.
The Omonomosé-in-Chief wants to revolutionize beauty retail in Africa. She is set to create a world class beauty retail chain of stores housing both international and African brands. The Mosé Store seeks to be the go-to store for beauty products, particularly for specially curated African Brands.
This was then followed by a panel discussion consisting of skincare brand owners: Uzor Okonmah, Founder Midori wonders, Folasade Olagbaye, Founder Aralewá Skincare, Zephia Ovia, Founder/CEO Makariah Scrubs and Ore Runsewe, Founder Arami Essentials, who spoke about their experiences stocking with The Mosé Store and the importance of a good quality beauty retail space.
Mosé In house Makeup Artist/Beauty Blogger, Stephanie Ani (Pro Make Up Artistry) spoke about why she chose to partner with Mosé Brand, stating that she wanted a place that would feel like home and wanted her customers to get the continuous Stephanie Ani service they are accustomed to, she said the Mosé Store provided all that and more.
Design Experts of The Mosé Store, Ogonna Okafor- Principal Designer Fiona Phillips Design Studio spoke about how this was her first design job after Parsons School of Design in New York City, and how she was more than happy to join the Mosé team in creating a world class beauty retail space. She said Isibor Nowe had a clear vision for the Mosé Store, and it was based on that brief she implemented the Vision of the brand in its design aesthetics.
Renowned Industry Expert Dr Vivian Oputa, dermatologist, Medical Director DermaCare Medical Limited also spoke about the importance of skincare, especially sunscreen, citing that it was one of the leading causes for premature aging and even cancer. She also spoke about how there were not enough quality beauty retail spaces in Nigeria and the need for such spaces in the beauty industry.
On that note the press conference ended and Dr Vivian Oputa had the honor of officially declaring The Mosé Store open for business!
